- CSAT is qualifying in nature, requiring a minimum of 40% marks.
- There is no negative marking in either paper.
- The merit list for Mains selection is based only on Paper-I (General Studies) scores.

Important Mains Exam Details
- All papers (except language papers) can be attempted in English or Punjabi.
- Special emphasis is given to Punjab’s History, Culture, and Economy.
- Candidates must score 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST) to qualify for the interview.
- The interview is only for candidates who clear the Mains exam.
PPSC 2025 Interview/Viva-Voce
The interview (150 marks) evaluates a candidate’s personality, communication skills, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
The final ranking is based on:
